Sabayon Linux v3.2 release adds Intel Pro wireless |

Version 3.2 of Sabayon Linux hit the web released last week. The Gentoo-based distro features a 2.6.18 kernel and a choice of KDE, GNOME, or XFce desktop environments, and now also includes out-of-the-box support for Intel Pro wireless 3945.
Italy-based Sabayon Linux is a live DVD designed to transform a PC into a Gentoo Linux system in less than five minutes, a team spokesman said. The live DVD also facilitates installation of the distribution onto a hard drive, acting as an easy-to-use Gentoo installation disk.
New features and refinements in this new release, according to the project team, include:- improved and production-ready GPU automatic detection
- OpenGL sub-system wrong auto-detection and user error detector (will greatly improve the number of NVIDIA and ATI supported cards)
- new HAL 0.5.8.1, supports full NTFS read and write out-of-the-box through FUSE and in general much more powerful
- NVIDIA drivers 1.0-9631 (fixes bug on GeForce3/4 video cards)
- ATI drivers 8.31.5
- KOffice 1.6.1 office suite
- fixed nohdparm boot option
- improved NetworkManager
- fixed installation from USB CD/DVD media.
